Meet Marissa

Knowing the challenges that life throws at you is what I’m all about. Once I was on a treadmill on a high incline setting with a weighted vest on and someone asked me, “What are you training for?” My response, “Life”!

I love to workout, however I know that not everyone does. That’s ok! What I have found is that something will always slow you down or worse, stop you from enjoying your life. Life doesn’t consider that you don’t keep your core strong or that you need 2 capable knees to do your job. Life isn’t worried that you had 2 kids and can’t keep up with them or that you are retired and not able to go upstairs without help.

 

My “why”

I love to move, to work, to workout, to be strong and help motivate people to do the same. To gain the confidence to hit the gym so they can enjoy life outside the gym. It takes dedication and doing the hard things. Getting a strong core and staying strong so you don’t put your back out. Knowing the proper programming to help you get in shape to hike that mountain! Being able to squat so you can play with your grandkids.
